DeYoung Zoo

For years and years – and years I have been going to this zoo.  We love it.  So much so that for our wedding, we brought everyone to the zoo!  Not on our wedding, but the day before.  Our family was awed at the experiences made available to them.  The one on one connections with the animals, the real zoo experiences like the big cat feeding, all of it.

This past year was the first year I lived back home in over 24 years.  One of the first things we did is buy a family pass. We went almost every weekend this past summer if it wasn’t raining.

Words cannot describe the experiences I have had at this zoo.  The owners, Bud and Carrie are good friends of mine.  These animals are their family, and are treated better than most people treat their own family members!

I will have multiple posts for the zoo…. so get ready.  It’s one of my most favorite places on earth.
